Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe
The Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe is a great quality safe, designed for the ultimate fire and burglar protection. It is extra tall and wide to hold all of your rifles as well as paperwork and valuable items. It will hold up to 44 long guns inside plus room for other items on the top of the safe. There is a door organizer for pistols and other miscellaneous items that you want quick access too. This allows you safe storage of accessories, documents and more in zippered pockets.
Fire protection is important to protect your guns (pistols and rifles), plus valuables and important paperwork. The Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe has a proven 60 minute fire rating, tested at outside temperatures up to 1400 degrees F. The Palusol Heat expanding door seal expands to over 6 times it's size when exposed to heat. This creates a barrier against heat and smoke. The fire protection uses UL rated fireboard in the ceiling, walls and the door. The external solid strap hinges allow full fire protection vs internal hinges which have gaps and weak points in the fireboard protection. Inside the composite steel door is an added layer of UL rated fireboard protection behind the door organizer.
Winchester provides a Lifetime Free Replacement Guarantee in the event your Winchester Ranger 44 is ever in a fire. This means they will at their option, repair, replace or in certain cases refund your purchase price. All you need to do is send photos of the unit damaged in a fire that accompanies the replacement claim.
The burglar protection on the Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe is a step up from most gun safes on the market today. It features a UL listed RSC burglar rating for burglar protection. It also exceeds the CDOJ (California Department of Justice) requirements. The solid steel 12 gauge body (thicker than most gun safes) is formed with robotic continuous welds. There is a drill-resistant, heat-treated steel hard plate and titanium disk. An auxiliary re-locker keeps the active boltwork locked in place when the safe is under attack.
The boltwork on the Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe features 16 - 1" solid steel locking bolts. There are 6 dead locking on the hinge side and 10 active bolts. These include top/bottom locking bolts for added pry resistance. The recessed door and reinforced steel return jambs thwart pry attacks. In the bottom of the safe are pre-drilled mounting holes to secure the safe to a solid surface (highly recommended). Winchester also includes a Lifetime Free Replacement Guarantee in the event of a burglary attack.
The outside of the Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe is painted a durable powdercoated gunmetal gray or black finish. A 3-spoke black, chrome vault handle is standard. Inside is a single power outlet to plug in items such as a light kit, dehumidifier rod or other accessories. Adjustable shelving system gives you easy-access to your rifles. Collector barrel racks are also standard with auxiliary shelves for interior customization to fit your storage needs.

If an order is placed on a product that is listed as back-ordered (or is advised), our protocol is to charge the customer's credit card or PayPal account. In order to have more control over this unfortunate fulfillment delay, we must process your payment when your order is placed to prevent:

Therefore we do this to avoid costly and frustrating postponements, cancellations, rerouting, and in some cases unfortunate fraudulent receipt of shipments. This usually happens due to intentional or unintentionally submitted false payment information. Therefore, this back-order protocol has been put in place to limit unnecessary and excessive costs of doing business, which allows us to keep our prices lower for you, our customer. While Waiting...
If you placed a back-order and you did not intend to do so, you may do the following:
- Review other comparable products on our site for purchase in place of your current order. If you would like to modify your order, please place a new order and contact us immediately after so we can refund your original order.
- If your order has not already shipped, we can cancel and refund your order in full after a brief period of confirming the order cancellation with the manufacturer. You can e-mail us at support@shieldepot.com with your cancellation request. You may also request inventory availability so a new order can be placed when the item becomes available.
- Please wait a minimum of four (4) business days for your credit card company to post the credit.
Please note, that unless we are advised by you in a written email reply indicating either of the above two options prior to shipment, we will assume that you want to keep your present order in place until the product is available to ship (requiring no post-order response from you). We will continue to diligently work on your behalf with the manufacturer to fulfill your order as soon as possible and advise on freight and tracking information when it is made available to us.

If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will reach out to you via e-mail to confirm if you'd like to keep your order or cancel for a full refund. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Please reference your product page specific lead times. After shipment, items will arrive in 2-7 business days after order has been shipped out.
Certain items due to high demand and low supply can only be placed on back order at specific times. Please contact customer service to hear about any items availability.

Large items that ship via freight (not UPS or Fedex) require a signature
upon delivery. You will receive a call from the shipping company to arrange
a time and day for delivery that works for you.
PRODUCT QUALITY GUARANTEE
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should contact us IMMEDIATELY. If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please contact us immediately within 48 Hours of delivery and send photos to support@shieldepot.com We will process an insurance claim on your behalf and happily work with you to resolve the issue or replace your order.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Generally, most of the items we carry can be returned within 30 days of
receipt in new condition and unopened.
Returned products must be sent back with their original packaging and have all of the parts and components that they came with. Please contact the manufacturer for any warranty issues.
If there is a damage in the product, the customer is not responsible for the shipping costs and restocking fees that apply for the return.
Customer remorse: If there is no damage to the product, the customer will be responsible of paying for shipping and restocking fees. The customer will be given a refund of the remaining balance.
Please document (photograph) any damages upon receiving the item and report these damages to the delivery carrier if product was sent by LTL or freight (not by UPS, Fedex, USPS, etc).
Some items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for return shipping and original shipping cost, even if the item was "free shipping". Any damages to products may void the return.
Returns must be accompanied with an RMA number. Please contact us in order to have one generated.
